It's Official: Olive oil can help you live longer—and here's our favorite Greek olive oil brand, "LiveLonger"!
A new Harvard study finds that just a tablespoon a day goes a very long way

Bye bye, butter! Consuming just half a tablespoon of olive oil a day can elicit a 19 percent lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease, a 17 percent lower risk of cancer death, a 29 percent lower risk of death from dementia and an 18 percent lower risk of respiratory disease death, a new bombshell Harvard study finds.
Greece has since antiquity produced some of the best and purest olive oils, with Crete and the Kalamata regions being the source of some of the finest anywhere.
Stay in Greece for any length of time and you'll probably be tasting a lot of olive oil, which has been a key ingredient in the healthy Mediterranean diet for thousands of years. Live Longer Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from a single family-owned olive grove on the slopes of the Messinian mountains in the Peloponnese. This olive oil is made from cold extracted pure raw olive juice from koroneiki oloves and has a very low acidity, with a mild fruit intensity. Its balanced bitter and spicy flavor is guaranteed to transform your salads—and now, if the Harvard study is anything to go by, also your life! So, go buy.
Because it's also got polyphenols—lots of them—which for you non-Harvard types means they are powerful antioxidants. Beautifully and sturdily bottled, this product makes for a great gourmet gift. "When a friend gave me some of this Greek olive oil I was amazed at how flavorful it is," says New York-based television personality Delaina Dixon. "This stuff is the olive oil bomb!"
